Diabetes

Today my Dr. tells me that I have Diabetes. So I have decided to blog about my journey to getting healthy. It's so easy to say okay I'll start getting healthy, eating right, exercising next week. Then the next week rolls around and the next and then before you know it another year has passed. I start a program, diet and exercise and I usually hit that two week mark and then fall off the wagon. Well there's no more falling off. I'm ready for the bumpy ride!!!! I have battled with my weight now for several years. This was my WAKE UP call....I get it and I'm ready to ROCK!!!!! I want/need to be the best I can be for my babies, my family and for ME!!!! This is going to be a life style change that I am welcoming!!

PS- I HEART Sugar Free Jello Pudding!! Takes care of that sweet tooth of mine!! ;)

  1. Way to go Stacie, I'm glad you have such a positive outlook on the situation, your right you CAN do this and it will be a life style change, and it is gonna be hard, I know what it's like to be really motivated about a diet or exercise program, and then something happen to mess it up (like a 3 day artic blast) and then you are back to square one : ) Your not alone it's always easier for all of us to "say" than it is to "do". However you have a wonderful family who loves you and will support you so I don't think your gonna have any problem getting this under control. My dad use to tell us it was the bumpy spots in life that build character in a person. If I can help with anything like diet info etc...anything at all just let me know, I'll keep you in my prayers -Nicole
